20 New 2-D Mixed Media Works of Art in 10 Weeks

Cape Coral, Fla. – Amanda Stirn, founder and creative director for MiMi Stirn Artistry has launched an Indiegogo Campaign to raise funds for her art business and to replace her recently destroyed exhibition tent and art walls.   Her challenge is to complete 20 new 2-D mixed media art canvases in the course of the next 10 weeks.   The new additions to the art collection will be unveiled at the Artnado Fine Art Show in West Palm Florida on November 14-15, 2015.

The Indiegogo campaign will run through October 4, 2015 and has a budget goal of $4,500 with 20 different perks at different funding levels, with donations starting as low as $5 up to $1,000. Perk products are set with her award winning Hoolandia© Owl Art series. Perks selections include art prints on paper or canvas, canvas bags, jewelry, iPhone and Samsung phone cases, and select original paintings and 2D art from her collection. Stirn updates the site twice per week with progress reports for the 20 new pieces of 2-D mixed media art and painting demonstrations.

Stirn a marketing coordinator, certified by Cornell University in Marketing Strategy, is a native of Washington State. She previously owned a successful government consulting firm from 1998 through 2014. She relocated to Southwest Florida in 2010. In 2013 she opened her second business, a home-based art studio in Cape Coral and has been showing at local art shows including the 2014 Cape Coral Festival of the Arts. Recently she secured a location in the Downtown Fort Myers Art Walk, where she shows her works of art the first Friday of each month.

Stirn says, “I have skin in the game and this is not my first business rodeo. The success of the Indiegogo campaign sets the foundation for a greater goal, which includes taking the art on the road both in and out of Florida and eventually opening a different type of rocking art gallery in South Florida within the next five years.”
